I like it but it needs some tweaking.

First, I’m in love with batik fabrics, I really like the exotic, beachy feel they give off. I do not wear clothing that goes with hot pink batik though, so I’ve decided that this purse will actually be my craft tote. I can handle a hot pink craft tote.

I’m going to make another purse very similar to this one but with the following changes

longer, larger handles, I want that puppy to hook on to my shoulder and stay there.

more useful outside pockets as I don’t carry around magazines and I would never trust myself to carry a hot beverage in my purse as I barely trust myself to carry one with my hands.

a magnetic closure so my super nice wallet that my husband got me doesn’t flop out and I lose it somewhere or show off my drivers license picture that looks like I rubbed my face with bacon grease. Seriously.

a more hip fabric with ever hipper trim because I think we can all agree that almost 30 year olds don’t need accessories that include hot pink shimmery ribbon.

a longer body to carry more stuff because I am a hopeless purse packrat.

I’m really hoping to create a purse that has an Anthropologie feel to it and now I’m really wishing that Anthropologie sold fabric.

Anyway. so that’s my current project brewing in my head at the moment.
